Clooney has produced NDC Seaside’s Got To Get Up And Try, Four Field Champions, Three Amateur Field Champions, Two FC-AFC’s, and 66 QAA dogs to date. His progeny have amassed 964 derby points with 94 wins.

Bruce Curtis of Curtis Kennels, trained Maxie in basics. Maxie soon returned home and I entered and handled her in two derbies resulting in two first place finishes at 19 months old.
Transition work was with Tony Flowers of West Bay Retrievers. I entered Maxie in one qualifying stake and we finished second-place at 2 years of age. After those three trials, she was placed in training full-time with Alan Pleasant of Black River Retrievers.
The COVID outbreak set her competitive career back, given there were no field trials on the East Coast. Nonetheless, she titled at age 4 when she and I won the Open at the Swamp Dog trial. Maxie later qualified for the 2021 NRC, and the 2022 NARC. Maxie has 2 other titled litter-mates and another with AA points.
Maxie’s first litter to FC-AFC Seaside’s Smokin Joe has produced two QAA dogs at age 2.

Maxie’s dam is FC-AFC Contrails Sky Queen; 124.5 AA points, qualified for 12 Nationals, finalist 2016. She has 4 titled litter-mates, and produced 3 titled dogs in her first litter including 2022 NRC finalist FC Pleasant River King Eider.
Maxie’s Grand dam is FC-AFC Ranger’s Lone Lola, and Great Grand dam is litter-mate to FC-AFC -NFTCH-AFTCH Comstock’s Bodacious
Clooney’s dam is Xena; daughter of NFC Chopper X NFC Windy. Xena has produced multiple titled dogs including FC-AFC Seaside Lula Blue, FC T1’s Seaside Construction Zone, FC Brr Seaside Good Timing Man, FC-AFC Laird’s Cynful Seaside Gamble, FC-AFC Seaside’s Cradle Robber omg, FC Seaside Where Dreams Come True, FC K&m’s Seaside Warrior Ellie, FC-AFC Seaside Smokin Joe, FC Seaside’s Got That Itch Again, and FC Seaside Ll Cool J, Jr.
